WELCOME TO OUR WEBSITE!

From its first season in 1976, The Lutheran Chorale has shared its love of music with the front range community, performing a rich variety of musical works, with a special emphasis on the abundant choral tradition of the Lutheran Heritage. Under the direction of conductor David Hodel, the Chorale has performed major works by composers such as Bach, Handel, Brahms, and Verdi, as well as contemporary anthems, spirituals, secular pieces and motets.
The Chorale numbers almost 60 members and more recently has added friends and voices in collaboration with local area choirs. The Chorale has been privileged to sing a number of Christmas concerts with the Lakewood Symphony at the Lakewood Cultural Center.
Performances include 4 - 6 major concerts each season as well as performances for special events such as fund-raisers, civic organizations, dedications, conventions, etc. The Chorale has sung the National Anthem at major Denver sports stadiums. World tours have taken us to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Scandinavia, New Zealand, Australia and the British Isles.
New singers are always welcome. Membership is open to anyone who enjoys learning and singing great music with singers of all ages. Please consider joining us this season. All voices are welcome.
Rehearsals are on Monday (September - April) from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. We meet at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 2100 Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO. The first rehearsal is Monday after Labor Day in September. Come early to audition prior to the first two rehearsals (6:30 to 7:10p.m.) - a
prepared piece is not necessary.
